Whom do you trust?

AMED 52.06

Home | A Miracle Every Day | Miracles | Whom do you trust?

Whom do you trust? What do you trust in? I was recently on a plane, and I wondered for just a moment why I trusted this big bucket of bolts and screws. I thought about the pilot. Did he have too much to drink that night, or did he have a death wish because his family just blew up?

The Bible makes this debate very clear: “Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.” (Psalms 20:7, NIV) Some trust in people; others trust in wealth or their beauty.

Aren’t we all going to grow old? Shouldn’t we all stay humble because “…you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.” (James 4:14, NKJV)? And “Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.” (Proverbs 31:30, NIV)

There was a time when I had 2% body fat and could run all day, but there have been too many donuts and burgers since. I’m in the last chapter of my life. I’ve lived a great life. I’m so grateful to God and a lot of wonderful people. I’ve also come to a liberating conclusion: I can totally trust the love of God. His grace and mercy are sublime, and He’s a good God.

Do you know that He’s a good Father as well? Do you believe this?

So let’s get rid of some common, distorted God concepts. We mentioned them a few days ago.

  1. God is not a cruel chess player or manipulator. He gave you free will, so use it wisely.
  2. We will reap what we sow. Whether it’s good or bad seeds, it’s up to us. Bad seeds produce bad fruit. “Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.” (Galatians 6:7, NIV)
  3. God cares about you. He’s not an absent landlord.
  4. God is not angry with you. Christ paid the penalty for all your sins. He loves you unconditionally.

I hope and pray you will erase the distorted images of God and replace them with the truth.

Because you are a miracle.

We do not always reap what we sew. Sometime harm comes to people because they did good such as Jesus sacrifice. Today many who expose corruption within government and churches also get killed.

The truth seekers and healers are again under fire. but this time the fire comes in the form of Direct Energy Weapons which can be disguised, unseen, unheard.

I know I don’t always do good and sometimes I might do things that are not pleasing to God but I also always pray and ask God to forgive my sins and I know He does forgive me, Always 100% of the time

I am reading though the book of Joshua right now and I don’t understand why Joshua and the tribe of Israel would go from town to town and kill everyone. The men, women, children and the animals. I just don’t understand why a loving God would do that :( Can you explain?

      Morning Stephanie,
God, is a loving God, he doesn’t get Joshua, to kill everyone. You need someone understand the bible story to explain it to you. It’s a metaphor. (Figure of speech) God does not make Joshua, to kill everyone, I thought that too when I first read it…. cheek out the bible project Tim Macklemore

Thank God for sharing this message and make me to understand that his alive at all, God do not made Joshua to kill anyone else even for the Joshua himself he did not have too much time to think about and an killed is it the same likes you and I, who say about this Joshua is a killer I thought when a person stay at on his own and do your thing were other one look at you the have double mind for the person which Christ can quickly scan you they say a lot about the person whom you create but for God is not like the way people said of you. But that if you want to be a killer don’t say even in the Bible Joshua is a killer that is wrong it is a choice you made with your father who are in heaven
