God
Loves Me

God is holy and perfect. We were made to love God, glorify Him, and enjoy Him forever. In the beginning, everything was good: no war, no injustice, no sickness, no brokenness, sin, or death.

God’s Purpose
“…all things were created by Him and for Him.” – Colossians 1:16

Abundant Life
“…I have come that they may have life and have it more abundantly.” – John 10:10b

Eternal Life
“…this is Eternal Life, that they may know you the only true God…” – John 17:3

What prevents us from experiencing this kind of relationship with God?

I Live Apart
From God

Man chose to go his own independent way, separating him from God. This self-will, which shows up as active rebellion or passive indifference, is what the Bible calls sin. Sin isn’t just bad behavior; it’s a condition of the heart that results in brokenness, death and eternal separation from a Holy God. Sin cannot be removed by good works or religion.

All have Sinned: “For or all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God…” – Romans 3:23

Sin’s Penalty: “For the wages of sin is death…” – Romans 6:23

Good Works Are Not Enough: “For by grace you are saved through faith…not a result of works…” – Ephesians 2:8,9

There is only one way to bridge this gap between God and man…

Jesus Gave Everything for Me

God, in His incredible love, sent His Son, Jesus, to pay the penalty for our sin. Jesus was God in human flesh. He lived a perfect life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again to defeat sin and death.

Because of Jesus, we can be forgiven, experience peace with God, and have eternal life.

God’s Love: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son…” – John 3:16

He Died on Our Place, and Rose Again

“Jesus died for our sins…He was raised on the third day…” – 1 Corinthians 15:3-5

It is not enough just to know these things…

Will I Choose
to Follow Jesus?

Whoever repents and trusts in Jesus alone will be saved.

Repentance is a change of mind about our sin and our need for a Savior, trusting in Jesus alone for salvation. We receive Jesus by faith and by personal invitation.

Does this make sense to you? Are you ready to repent and put your trust in Jesus?

“…if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead you will be saved… For ‘everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’ “– Romans 10:9, 13

“…to all who received him to those who believe in his name, he gives the power to become a child of God…” – John 1:12

“Lord Jesus, I need you. I realize that I’m a sinner and can’t save myself. I need Your forgiveness. I believe You are the Son of God and that You died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead. I repent of my sins and trust You as Savior and Lord. Take control of my life and help me to follow you in obedience. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
