Have you found your anointing?

Publication date Jun 18, 2020
Today, co-writer Paul Marc Goulet wrote the message of "A Miracle Every Day". I pray his message and audio will bless you today. -- Everyone possesses a specific anointing, but few recognize or understand it.  I remember watching a young hockey player by the name of Wayne Gretzky when he was just 16 years old. My college buddies had invited me to watch a junior hockey game in Ottawa, Canada, with a young player who was particularly talented. We were all playing for the University team, and we thought we were pretty good. But then we saw this skinny kid put on a scoring clinic for everyone to see. It was amazing; he was not big, strong or fast, but he stood out amongst all the other players. He had an anointing. friend, what’s your anointing? Many people don’t understand God has designed a supernatural partnership with you. You have been endowed with a specific set of skills, talents and passions to help you accomplish your divine assignment. Practice, study, education, effort and gifts are all important, but there is an oil from heaven that can activate you to achieve great things: it is the anointing.  “But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him.” (I John 2:27, NKJV)   friend, you can learn how to abide in this anointing, but you need to do a few things first:
  1. Ask God to forgive you for settling for less than your best.
  2. Learn to go for divine design. (See Psalm 139)
  3. Ask for the Holy Spirit to fill you with the courage to discover and abide in your anointing.
  4. Discover your loves and passions and pursue them.
  5. Be coachable! Be teachable!
The anointing is very practical. You may not be able to make a great living doing it, but you can make a great life. The Apostle Paul discovered he loved ministry, but he made tents to pay the bills. He made tents so that he could pursue his passion and divine assignment.  friend, I pray you will discover, pursue and grow in your anointing because you’ve been designed to be a miracle.  You’re a miracle.
