Party time: The Gift of Celebration! 🥳

Hello dear friend! I want to encourage you today and take a moment to celebrate with you. 

One of the reasons I love sports is that winning leads to celebration. Whether it’s baseball, with a World Series celebration, football games (whether American football or European football), winners love to celebrate! We also celebrate birthdays, weddings, graduations, and holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Do you realize that celebration is biblical? One of my favorite celebration stories is in I Chronicles 29 when David led his people in giving the resources to build the temple. Everyone gave from what they had. In his prayer of praise, David says, “But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this? Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand.” (1 Chronicles 29:14, NIV). They praised God together, and then they had a big celebration meal! “They ate and drank with great joy in the presence of the Lord that day.”

Today, we can celebrate what we have done together through your giving that makes it possible to continue and grow A Miracle Every Day. God gave us the vision for this daily email, and it has grown far beyond what we imagined. Whether you were able to give a gift or not, you are a part of this miracle. We also celebrate the special matching gift that has helped us reach more people than ever. This was a special encouragement to all of us as we gave.
