Do you know you have something really special in you and on you?
Some call it the X-Factor and others the It-factor, but you have something very unique in you. In fact, Psalm 139 reveals you were designed for very specific purposes: “Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.” (Psalms 139:16, NIV)
Before you ever breathed one breath, God already had a tremendous plan for your life. This plan doesn’t happen by accident. God provides 5 major elements to ensure you can live with purpose, destiny and anointing:
- God cleanses you of all of your sins and shortcomings.
- God has a clear purpose for you. Your life is not an accident.
- God is willing to give you favor, power and gifts to accomplish your assignment.
- God provides a relational infrastructure to support your growth. “So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up,” (Ephesians 4:11-12, NIV)
- God will anoint you to fulfill your divine destiny. You will live with a supernatural touch from heaven. “But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth.” (I John 2:20, NKJV)
The anointing is God’s secret sauce. It will help you shine for Him, change lives, lead many to Christ, build businesses and score that winning goal in soccer. “For we are to God the pleasing aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing.” (II Corinthians 2:15, NKJV)
I’m praying you will seek the perfume of heaven to rest upon your life. Get it, guard it and share it. There is a Name written on that scent, and it’s not Dior, Chanel or Bulgari; it’s the Spirit of Jesus.
The world is waiting for the scent of heaven; will you be the carrier of this fragrance?
The anointing is not separate from you; it is only released into the atmosphere when it rests upon you.
You are a miracle.
