Are you ready to sow into a better harvest?
We’ve taken two weeks to talk about rewiring our brains. It’s clear by now that the greatest threat to an abundant life is not the devil or demons. It’s our own thoughts, choices, and results. The Bible says, “Those who sow in tears shall harvest with joyful shouting.” (Psalms 126:5, NASB) God has established laws that govern sowing and reaping, seed and harvest. I’m convinced that I can change my future if I can change my thinking. Remember that your thoughts lead to feelings, feelings to options, options to choices, choices to action, and action to results.
friend, do you love your life right now? Do you love your career, home, relationships, and finances? If you don’t, are you willing to make some difficult changes?
It won’t be easy because your brain has been hardwired. Generations have helped teach you how to think. The Bible warns us that “The LORD is longsuffering and abundant in mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression; but He by no means clears the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generation.” (Numbers 14:18, NKJV) Yikes! Up to four generations can be impacted by one man’s sin. Sin is missing the mark through damaged thinking, wrong beliefs, and/or bad decisions.
friend, you can change your life if you start rewiring your thinking by:
- “...bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.” (2 Corinthians 10:5, NKJV) Get rid of trash, lies, and bitterness.
- Forgiving the people who hurt or abused you.
- Surrounding yourself with healthy people.
- Changing your self-talk.
- Filling your brain with truth, the Word, and great declarations.
friend, I know God will give you the strength to take these bold steps because you are a miracle. I think you’re amazing.
