Are you worried about tomorrow?
Is there something on your mind right now that’s consuming your thoughts so much that you can hardly find peace, friend?
Or, to put it another way... there’s ALWAYS something that tries to pull our thoughts away from what we could be doing today by distracting us with worries about tomorrow.
As I write this to you, friend, I’ve had a few restless days where I had to make the conscious decision to trust God, even though I can’t yet see my miracle.
But there’s one thing we can always do, friend. Open the Bible and seek God. I know that might not sound like what you want to hear. But it’s the truth and the freedom we so desperately need in those moments! (John 8:32 NLT).
And that’s exactly what I did, in the midst of my restlessness, and I came across a Bible verse I hadn’t noticed before. In John 16:24, it says:
“Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.” (John 16:24 NIV) . Wow. Wow. Wow. Have you clearly asked for your miracle “in Jesus’ name,” friend?
And one more thing. It says here: “...Then your joy will be complete!”
Cool, right? “...SO THAT your joy may be complete!” How amazing is that? God doesn’t just want to give you what you ask for in Jesus’ name; He also wants your joy to be complete! And that, here on earth. Today. Now! Completeness describes a state that cannot be further improved.
This makes me really want to pray “in Jesus’ name” for the miracle I so desperately need! Does it affect you that way too, friend? Then do it today. Now.
God wants to give you something good today—don’t you want to claim it?
You are a miracle!
