Bring Your Pain to God

friend, something recently happened that shook me to the core!

There was a woman whom I didn't necessarily know closely, but I had seen her around and found her very likable. Every time we met, we exchanged very personal things directly.

The last time was no different. However, what I didn't know was that I couldn't trust this woman. She had made it her mission to share everything I confided in her to harm me.

I can't even begin to tell you how terrible it was for me, how much it disappointed and hurt me! Perhaps you've experienced such a painful breach of trust in your life, friend. What now?

Of course, I brought all these emotions and fears—because no one wants their private matters made public—before God! I asked Him: "Should I take any measures here to stop her from her intentions?

And God answered, as calmly as only He can in such tense situations: "...Hear me, Believe in the Lord your God, and you will be established." (2 Chronicles 20:20 ESV) 

No matter how tense your situation is, God remains completely calm, because He knows what He can do!

And He said clearly: "Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!" (Psalm 46:10 ESV) 

friend, when Jehoshaphat was also threatened by dangerous soldiers who not only wanted to destroy him verbally but to kill him, he prayed a prayer full of faith that I also urge you to take to heart today as you feel threatened:

"O Lord, God of our fathers, are you not God in heaven? You rule over all the kingdoms of the nations. In your hand are power and might, so that none is able to withstand you!" (2 Chronicles 20:5-6 ESV) 

friend, if someone wants to harm you, don't despair, but bring your pain to God because He will have the final say here too!

He loves you—and even the person who is hurting you right now!

Yes, because He loves with a love that is only found in Him!

You are a miracle!
