Can God trust you?
How strong is your trust in God, friend?
Recently, I was talking about this with my father, and then he suddenly turned to me, looked at me, and asked the question I’d like to ask you today:
“Can GOD trust YOU, friend?”
What a question! Can God really be sure that you’ll do everything you can to use what He has entrusted you with in your life? That what He has desired for and through your life will actually come to pass?
This could mean anything, friend. Maybe for you, it means not sitting at your job grumbling about the pay, but instead doing your work with a level of excellence that your boss doesn’t even expect.
Here’s some encouragement from the Bible on that: “Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people.” (Colossians 3:23 NLT)
It could also mean pushing yourself to get out of bed in the morning, even when you’re not happy with your life because things didn’t turn out the way you expected...
Here’s another encouragement from the Bible: “So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable. Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless.” (1 Corinthians 15:58 NLT)
friend, you and I have a mission that’s so much bigger than we realize. It is very dear to God’s heart that we bring something good into this world:
“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago.” (Ephesians 2:10 NLT)
friend, can God trust you with His heart’s desire? Can He trust that you’ll fulfill it for Him? Yes, can GOD trust YOU?
You are a miracle!
