“Can’t you hear me, friend?”

Today, I have something on my heart because... well, yes, why?
Honestly, it feels as though God “let me see” how He’s feeling right now. I realized that we often focus only on how WE feel, but what about God? How does He feel? Is He ever sad? Does He look at the earth and, with tears in His eyes, hope that we understand?
In a moment, He allowed me to “see” one of His thoughts through His Word 📖. A thought that I want to pass on to you today. Imagine God, deeply moved and touched, saying to you:“Can’t you hear me, friend?”
“Call on me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor me.” (Psalm 50:15 NIV)I believe God has this message for you:
“Today, I am calling out to you, friend, your loving Father. Time and time again, I reach out my hand, but you don’t hear me. How many times have I called you, invited you to find rest and peace with me? I say:
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28 NIV)And then I see you turn to me briefly in prayer, but immediately after, you fall back into worry, friend...
When I say I want to take your burdens away, I truly mean it. Perhaps I won’t take the entire backpack off at once, but I’ll remove one stone at a time… “You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand.” (John 13:7 NIV)
And until then, trust in me because I will give you the strength you need to be free.
“Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” (Hebrews 13:5 NIV). That’s my promise — and I will not break my promise.
So I ask you, friend, don’t just trust me in the moments when you feel me. Hear me through the Word I’ve given you. Through it, you can always understand what moves my heart and how much you mean to me!
As long as you read the Word each day, you’ll hear my voice and know the way. I love you, friend.
Your Father.
You are a miracle!
