Do you feel weak, friend? 😪

Publication date Feb 15, 2022

Serving God and continuing to walk in His ways isn’t always easy, especially not when you’re weak and tired. And God knows how your daily responsibilities consume your time, attention, and energy. Today, we’ll plunge into Isaiah 40:29-31, a passage from the Bible that will help us receive new strength!

“He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall, but those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.” (Isaiah 40:29-31, NKJV)

Do you feel weak?

  • Emotionally, maybe you’re no longer able to be available for others.
  • Physically, perhaps making it to the end of the day requires great effort on your part.
  • It might seem like strength is leaving you...or you wonder if maybe it wasn’t ever really there in the first place?

Here’s a promise for you that’s filled with hope: those who trust in the Lord will renew their strength. Imagine for a moment:

  • Walking without getting tired.
  • Running without getting weary.
  • Having constantly renewed strength…

That’s God’s plan for you, friend!

God is the Creator of energy, the source of our vitality. And before the Creator of energy, weakness itself gets weak. The Lord is the One who doesn’t sleep, who doesn’t close His eyes, because He constantly takes care of you and your needs, even when you sleep!

Today, I pray that you’ll allow the God of the impossible to take everything that’s stealing your energy from you...conflicts, worry, lack of sleep...and that you’ll let Him increase your strength! :-)

friend, would you pray with me for a moment?...“Heavenly Father, how many times have I pushed my luck, hoping that my situation would get better by itself? Hoping that a good night’s sleep would be enough to fix my state of fatigue? Today, I acknowledge that You are the source of my vitality, that with You, I can walk without getting tired. Father, renew me I pray, give me new strength, supernatural energy from heaven. Help me to turn to You as soon as I need to, not once I’m at the end of my strength. Thank You, my Lord. Your faithfulness is my treasure. In Jesus’ name, amen.”

Thanks for existing, and you are a miracle!
