Do you need more energy? 🔋

Do you take a power drink before your daily workout?  I’ve got to confess I’m barely human without my early cup of coffee. I feel horrible admitting that I’ve discovered I need something to give me more energy. friend, what’s your secret energy boost? Coffee, tea, monster drinks, smoothies or a chocolate bar? We all have our little secrets.  Did you know that God offers a substitute form of energy that is good for you and free, too: it’s called energeia. It’s often translated as power, but its roots are much deeper: “To this end I strenuously contend with all the energy Christ so powerfully works in me.” (Colossians 1:29, NIV)   friend, do you need more spiritual, emotional and physical energy? Did you know you can ask God to fill you with it? Who needs energy right now? Single moms, someone going to school and working full-time? The list is long because we live in a crazy busy world. Did you know that you can ask Him for more energy? I’ve experienced this myself. I have lived in India, France and right now I live in Las Vegas. Different places and different societies where I had to adapt. Many have asked me, “Paul Marc, where do you get your energy?” My secret is quite simple: I love what I do. I’m called, I exercise, I try to eat well and stay hydrated, and most of all, God fills me with His Spirit, who gives me tons of energy. I do all I can do to prepare my body, mind and spirit to bring the kingdom of God to earth, and He does the rest.  So, know this: energy is not just a power drink.
