Does God have communication problems?

Publication date Jan 25, 2025

Could it be that we have the wrong approach? Could it be that we desire to hear from God regularly but overlook the fact that everything He could still say to us would just be a repetition?

Let me explain this very simply:

The Word of God is—ta-da—just like the name suggests: the WORD OF GOD. This means that He would speak to you daily if you read it daily. Makes sense, right?

Now let me take it a step further: So you’re a bit disappointed because you feel like God isn’t talking to you. Meanwhile, God is a little disappointed too, thinking, “Huh? I’m going through everything from A to Z through My Word!”

You’re disappointed because you can’t feel God. And God is thinking, “Huh, but I promise in My Word that I will ALWAYS be with you. Always. Whether you feel Me or not.”

God told you, friend: ‘...And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.’ (Matthew 28:20 NLT). Do you see what’s happening, friend?

This looks like a clear communication problem. Could it be that you are longing for something that you ultimately don’t lack?

And maybe you’re thinking right now, “But I read God’s Word, yet I feel like He’s not speaking to me.”

Well, there's just one thing that makes a big start: BELIEVE what you read and take it to heart!

“And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.” (Hebrews 11:6 NLT)

Shall we approach it anew and set aside our communication problem?

How? By taking His Word in hand every time you think, “God isn’t speaking to me,” and thanking Him: “Thank you that this is Your Word for me.”

You are a miracle!
