Excel in your realm

Have you ever danced to music from the ’50s? I have, and it’s a blast. Do you remember the song sung by Chuck Berry and immortalized by Michael J. Fox in Back to the Future? I hope your guess is “Johnny B. Goode” because it’s a rock classic. 

It reminds me of my friend Johnny. He’s good at what he does. He owns and runs a large construction company. He wants to help me bring the message and spirit of A Miracle Every Day to businesses and churches throughout the U.S. Wow! 

friend, I’ve spent my life traveling around the world teaching about health, leadership, and breakthroughs. After an encounter with God in a hotel room, I felt compelled to focus more attention on English-speaking people in the United States and abroad. 

The Bible says that the first apostles were filled with power to reach the world: “‘But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.’” (Acts 1:8, NIV) This power hasn’t changed, nor has our mission. 

friend, we are all called to go into realms such as business, sports, science, or entertainment. In fact, God is commissioning each of us to find our realm and do our best to inspire and love people there. Success is not our main goal, but it will be a byproduct of becoming the best version of ourselves. Johnny is really good at his job, and now he wants even more to focus on spreading values, truth, and our faith to others.  

I know that God will help you excel in your career, family, and community even more. You are a miracle, and I love you more than a warm jacuzzi. And that’s a lot!
