Keep dreaming!

“How are you, friend?”

Maybe you've built a life that works. Okay, maybe if you're really honest, you've had a few more dreams and wishes, but it is what it is now…

Can I tell you how I'm doing today? And encourage you to keep dreaming by continuing to believe?

I'm constantly amazed these days at where I stand now. And honestly, I truly wanted—deep in my heart—to have a large family. Okay, I also wanted to sing, but just on the side…

Today, I don't have that large family—and yet, I'm 100% okay with that thought—and my current main task has become communicating hopeful messages. As a dear friend recently put it, so beautifully: “You get to be a true encourager of life!”

And in this area, it feels like more and more opportunities and open doors are added daily—God gets all the credit for that. And on top of that, the songs I've been privileged to write are spreading automatically.

If I had wildly focused on finding the man with whom I could start a large family, I would have never seen what God is showing me today. If I had put everything into the “music” card, I would never have started as an author at A Miracle Every Day for example. Do you understand what I mean, friend?

Don't focus on one option when with God, countless options are possible.

Trust God when He leads you on a different path to your goal than the one that would make sense from your perspective. What looks like a detour—or your “it is what it is” moment—is a path where you can draw from the abundance of heavenly possibilities! “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” (John 10:10 NIV) 

Because: Whoever continues to believe, also gets to continue dreaming.

Can I remind you of what's written in Matthew 19? “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” (Matthew 19:26 NIV)
