Can you listen to God?

"Go near to listen rather than to offer the sacrifice of fools, who do not know that they do wrong." (Ecclesiastes 5:1 NIV)

Wow, what a verse I stumbled upon recently. In the whole context, it says: "Guard your steps when you go to the house of God. Go near to listen rather than to offer the sacrifice of fools, who do not know that they do wrong." (Ecclesiastes 5:1 NIV)

I read this verse one morning after consciously spending time with God when I woke up. I immediately played worship music, knelt down and prayed, then remained silent and opened the Bible. And I truly arrived there: in God's peace. And that, even though I had a super busy day ahead of me.

I know, that sounds super holy now, friend, and believe me, I don't achieve that every day either, but the result was so strong, so peaceful, that I would wish for that every day.

And you know what? This peace is always possible for you because it's always possible for you to seek God's presence—and find Him there.

"Go near to listen rather than to offer the sacrifice of fools, who do not know that they do wrong." (Ecclesiastes 5:1 NIV)

That morning:

I CONSCIOUSLY entered into prayer

I CONSCIOUSLY knelt down (and hey, I know, we don't do that every day, but it came from the heart) and I worshiped God

I CONSCIOUSLY thanked Him for what He has done, and simply surrendered what lies ahead of me

…and I unexpectedly arrived in this complete peace!

friend, you can truly experience what you have read or heard so often in God's Word! These are real promises to you when you read verses like:

"You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." (Jeremiah 29:13 NIV)

Would you like to consciously lay down everything today, yes, even your phone? Close the computer and ignore everyone else who urgently needs something from you and just CONSCIOUSLY close your eyes, pray, listen to worship and sing, and hear what He wants to tell you, friend?

God has something to say to YOU. Don't keep Him waiting any longer!

You are a miracle!
