Overcoming Depression: The Miracle of God’s Healing. ❤️‍🩹

Publication date Nov 22, 2023

Hello friend, and thank you for joining me for Miracle Week.  Last month, I shared with you about my own journey with depression. I received so many emails from people who said, “I thought I was alone, but your story was a miracle in my own journey.” I was so honored to share how Jesus has walked me through the dark night of my own soul.

It is always our heart at A Miracle Every Day to encourage and inspire you.  We want to share with you the power of these verses from Matthew 10:7-8, where Jesus tells His disciples:

“As you go, proclaim this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven has come near.’  Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, and drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give.”

As a child of God, I have received SO much in the way of miracles, encouragement, and hope!  Everything that I have received, I want to pass on to you, friend, knowing that you will freely give away to those that God has placed in your life! Listen to this story from a friend who heard my story and is now living out his own miracle:

“Reading A Miracle Every Day, along with other devotionals and God's Word, rescued me from depression after a major personal suffering in my life. The enemy is a great deceiver and liar that was filling my head with constant lies and doubts that almost destroyed me and my marriage. But A Miracle Every Day and reading God's Word helped me replace those lies and doubts with God's truths. And one of those truths is that God loves us. Despite our sinful past, God has forgiven us and wiped the slate clean. A Miracle Every Day is a constant reminder that God is with us, and it restores hope when it feels like all is lost.” – Kyle

What an amazing story from Kyle! My friend, whatever you are facing today, Jesus is greater!  He made you a promise that you can claim today from John 16:33, “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33, NIV

The miracle of today is that Jesus has overcome the world! Depression, marriage problems, sickness, famine, and discouragement can all be laid at the feet of Jesus!

People often say, “I am in an impossible situation.” Can I remind you of something, my friend? The first prerequisite for a miracle is an impossible situation! Whatever you are facing today, God is greater, and His miracles can bring hope into every situation.

Never forget, you are a miracle!

Your friend,
