Remember this, my friend…,

"I don't know how to believe this for myself anymore," she said.

I had just posted a video on social media, encouraging us all to stay connected with God, especially when everything feels overwhelming. But this young woman was visibly exhausted, finding it hard to continue believing that God would intervene.

Are you possibly feeling the same way right now, friend?

You pray, but it seems like nothing is changing. You keep getting up, even when you don't feel like it, but even that doesn't seem to change your situation?

I'm writing to you today because I want to continue doing what I'm here on earth to do: I want to encourage you! And I'm not cheering you on from my express lane, saying, "Yay, you've got this! You'll get to my express lane too, just keep at it!"

No, friend. I'm cheering you on, right beside you. I have so many days when I'm tired too, days when I know God gives me the most amazing messages for all of us, yet I long for more strength and joy myself. How many times have I prayed—even on vacation—"Lord, please give me new strength, even my joy doesn't seem to be what it once was."

And you know what? David felt the same way! He said, “When I was in distress, I sought the Lord; at night I stretched out untiring hands, and I would not be comforted.” (Psalm 77:2 NIV)

One thing we must understand, friend. You won't always feel God, but He will always be there!

He promised: "...And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age!" (Matthew 28:20 NLT

Today, trust His promise more than your feelings, friend. Because He also has you in His sight today, in His loving gaze.

You are a miracle!
