Stick to it—even if you are thirsty!

Publication date Jul 31, 2023

With my father, I was able to experience several trips to Africa! The very first thing we always get when we arrive is water, because in this heat we would quickly collapse without it.

Without this water, we could do nothing, although we have everything else with us. Water is essential for survival in this extreme heat.

"Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters…" (Isaiah 55:1 NIV

friend, what all do you have "with you"? Your family? Your job? That big dream you've invested so much in? Maybe you've even come a long way, but you're running out of steam. Or maybe you have an addiction "with you", or you're getting help, or maybe you're even getting medical treatment…but no matter what you do, you don't have the strength to stick with it.

If so, let me ask you, have you asked Jesus to give you some of His living water that never runs out?

When Jesus met the woman at the well, He said to her, “If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water.” (John 4:10 NIV)

friend, maybe you too, like my father and me in Africa, "have it all" but are on the verge of breaking down. Jesus wants to give you some of His very special water today:

"...whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” (John 4:14 NIV)

If you ask, you will receive this water that is necessary for survival, and it will help you to master your TALks as you live in a constant relationship with Jesus. Ask Him for it (see Matthew 7:7 NIV) and He will surely give it to you. "Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters…" (Isaiah 55:1 NIV

You are a miracle!
