That will change your reflection, friend!
When I tell you every day, friend, you are a miracle, I really mean it. Even without having personally met you, I am so grateful for you!
I don't have to know you personally to know that you are wanted! That you have been created in all perfection and love! Because everything God does is wonderful!
Perhaps you are on the way to discovering that for yourself, but I know that the WONDERful is already inside you because God's creative power is in you!
In the Bible, we read about how God reacted after creating heaven and earth, light and darkness. It says: “God saw that the light was good…” (Genesis 1:14 NIV).
And do you know what the Bible writes about what God thought after creating people—you, friend? “Then God looked over all he had made, and he saw that it was very good!" (Genesis 1:31 NIV)
In God’s eyes, you are not just good, you are very good!
And that's why I want to tell you today: "Trust in the LORD with all your heart. Do not depend on your own understanding. In all your ways obey him. Then he will make your paths smooth and straight. Don’t be wise in your own eyes. Have respect for the LORD and avoid evil.” (Proverbs 3:5-7 NIRV)
Because I'm pretty sure, friend, as you hear this, you might still be thinking, "Me, wonderful? If Déborah knew everything, she would probably not say “You are a miracle anymore.”
I have to repeat myself: friend, "...Do not depend on your own understanding…" (Proverbs 3:5-7 NIRV)
And friend, it's true: Jesus sees what is happening in your life. He sees the not-so-pleasant things too. But Jesus loves to see who you are in Him and what you can become through Him! And here, you can trust Him—and not rely on your own understanding!
Maybe today you should just look in the mirror, smile at yourself, and say with conviction: 'You are a Miracle!'
And you know why? Every time you say those words, you are thanking the One who lives in you! And when God sees His Son Jesus in you, then it's time for you to see Jesus in yourself too!
You are a miracle!
