That’s Not A Problem After All!
"Ms. Rosenkranz, you are such a disappointment!" Wow, this sentence from my landlady hit me to the core. It really hurt!
I didn't have a clue what she was talking about. As it turned out later, it was a huge misunderstanding that had absolutely nothing to do with me!
Daniel from the Bible knew a similar situation. He had been falsely accused and then thrown into the lion's den! (See Daniel 6:16 NIV)
Now I have a question for you, friend? Have you ever seen a picture of Daniel in the lion's den? What did it look like?
I don't know of any picture where Daniel is standing trembling against the wall, scared to death. I only know of pictures where Daniel is lying on the ground near the lions and is asleep or has his eyes closed—or, he is praying to God.
He was indeed in the midst of his problem, but he did not even pay attention to it! Even though he was in a life-and-death situation, he trusted himself to God!
"My God sent his angel, and he shut the mouths of the lions. They have not hurt me, because I was found innocent in His sight... And when Daniel was lifted from the den, no wound was found on him, because he had trusted in his God.” (Daniel 6:22-23 NIV)
friend, this problem that you are currently facing, that keeps getting in your way, it's there, but it doesn't mean it can hurt you! "And when Daniel was lifted from the den, no wound was found on him, because he had trusted in his God." (Daniel 6:23 NIV)
Just as I had to walk this road past the unjust accusations a few more times, so too you may have to deal with it, but you can trust that God will bring you through it unscathed—if you will only trust!
Whenever we continue to look TO HIM, He takes away the power of the problem over our lives!
You are a miracle!
