The Solution is Already Here…
Sometimes life throws unexpected and surprising problems in our way. In such moments, our reaction is very important. Instead of taking everything into our own hands, there is a way that may initially seem more difficult but holds so much WONDER-ful potential. Because in these challenges lies the opportunity to grow and learn. This week we want to explore together how to do that and why it's worth it.
Do you get surprised by bills sometimes, friend?
We all know we have to pay regular bills like rent, insurance, groceries, etc. But sometimes unexpected bills come along, and they don't fit with what's left in the account. What now?
Just last week, I experienced exactly that. I've been on the go a lot lately and felt like I couldn't keep up anymore. And when I returned home, that worry was there again...
I had a problem and couldn't see the solution anywhere. Maybe you’ve felt that way too, friend. Maybe you also have a problem right now and can't see the solution yet.
When I looked into my bag, I noticed a green envelope that someone had slipped in. Not only did this wonderful woman write words in this letter that touched my heart deeply, but there were also bills in this envelope! Exactly the amount that was needed for the unforeseen bill.
friend, this envelope had been in my handbag for a while, even before the unexpected bill arrived! I just, honestly, forgot about it!
Oh, how often do we forget that the solution to our problem is just a prayer away! We know praying would help, yet we run around like crazy and forget that God wants to help us this time too!
If only we would ask Him...
"Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened." (Matthew 7:7-8 NIV)
friend, don't forget today to invite God into your problem.
Yes, you can carry your problems yourself or simply unload them onto God, and expect another miracle!
...and maybe the solution—as in my case—is already within reach!
You are a miracle!
