There is even more!

We have reached the end of our week, focusing on the Kingdom of God.

One thing you should know...there is even more! I have experienced this so often myself—there is not only more, but there is something else! Do you believe that God's reserves of happiness and dreams for your life are not yet exhausted? There is more of it! There is something else!

"But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." (Matthew 6:33, NIV) 

Other Bible versions translate the last verse with “also," "furthermore," "abundantly." In other words...more! The cross is God's "+" sign. Jesus gave up everything so that we could receive more: more peace, more joy, possibly even more days in our lives, but above all, more life in our days.

Jesus repeatedly affirms in His word, "Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us." (Ephesians 3:20, NIV) 

The Greek word "perissos" means "abundant, overflowing." It means...more than necessary! The good news is this: God wants to do more than just meet your needs. He wants to equip and fill you with His life, His love, with Himself. His inheritance is ready for God's children!

friend, believe in this: His inheritance is ready for you. More for your family, your marriage, your studies, your health. This is the inheritance your Father bequeaths to you:

"Because you are his children, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, 'Abba, Father.' So you are no longer a slave, but God’s child; and since you are his child, God has made you also an heir." (Galatians 4:6-7, NIV) 

So, what does your inheritance hold? Eternal life...but it also holds promises for our earthly life. If you truly seek God's kingdom and His righteousness, I firmly believe that God will be active in your life. Everything you need belongs to Him!
