What are you afraid of right now?
What fear is currently following you through the day... and the night, friend?
The fear of failure? The fear of not having enough in your account by the end of the month? The fear of never finding a good relationship? The fear of never having children? The fear of your boss? The fear of losing your job? The fear of missing the bus? The fear of saying something wrong?
Oh man, I just have to say! Once you start thinking about all the things you could be afraid of, you quickly realize how many fears you could have…
Could… but don’t have to.
friend, do you know how important it is to God that you understand that all your fears are pointless? So important that He has a Bible verse for EACH AND EVERY FEAR, no matter how many there are. Let me share just a few:
"Do not be afraid, for I am with you; DO NOT FEAR, for I am your God!" (Isaiah 41:10 NLT)
"Do not be discouraged, and DO NOT BE AFRAID! For I, the Lord your God, am with you wherever you go." (Joshua 1:9 NLT)
"Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I WILL NOT FEAR, for you, Lord, are with me." (Psalm 23:4 NLT)
Do you notice how behind every "Do not be afraid, do not fear," there’s always "For I am with you!" or "I am your God?” So, if you’re being held captive by fears, let the truth set you free. The truth you need to keep in mind: God wants to be closer to you than your fear is. But that’s up to YOU, friend. How?
By spending more time with God than with your fears. And that’s—fact—a battle against your own thoughts and emotions. But it’s a battle worth fighting. David experienced this too when he said:
"I prayed to the Lord, and He answered me and FREED ME FROM ALL MY FEARS!" (Psalm 34:4 NLT)
friend, now it’s time for you to experience the same! Will you bring your fears into God’s presence today and experience freedom through HIM?
I’d be happy to pray with you!
You are a miracle!
