What is your greatest battle?

Publication date Oct 16, 2021

What is your most ferocious battle? Who’s your biggest enemy? Is it fear, your boss, bullies, family members, corporate competitors, coworkers, or someone from another political party? Maybe you’re struggling with trauma, a nasty divorce, or a physical disability. The Bible says, “‘These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.’” (John 16:33, NKJV) We all struggle with something.

I think of these “somethings” as giants. Everyone seems to have a giant that intimidates him/her. These colossal figures seem to stand at the entrance to your next promised land. It could be that dreaded math class or the lunch hour conundrum of finding a seat in the cafeteria. It’s often the bully at work or the fear of failure that rears its ugly head.

friend, what’s hindering or intimidating you? What’s stopping you from conquering your giants?

Paul the Apostle challenged us to “Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.” (1 Timothy 6:12, NKJV) He also exhorts us to “Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” (Ephesians 6:11, NKJV)

Only then can we declare: “Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.” (Romans 8:37, NKJV)

friend, are you a conqueror? Have you fought for your mental, emotional, and spiritual health? Will you allow COVID-19 to destroy your confidence and sense of peace, or will you rise up every morning to fight once again? Let’s make a deal. I promise to keep fighting. What about you?

I have this feeling that you are about to create a few breakthroughs because you are a miracle, and it’s fun doing life with you. Please keep sending me those testimonies and prayer requests!
