Who is the biggest sinner in the world?
When I ask people at my performances who would like to start their lives all over again, many, many hands go up every time.
I too have often thought, "Oh, how I wish I could rewind a few years with the knowledge I have today. I could have avoided so many mistakes."
So what do you do if you're at that exact point today where you have so many regrets, friend? Maybe you're even thinking, "I'm just too far from God.... I did TOO MUCH wrong."
Well, then I can put your mind at ease, because it's not just me who could write a book about what a "bad person" I once was. Even Paul experienced a great life transformation. He said about himself:
“Even though I was once a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent man, I was shown mercy because I acted in ignorance and unbelief. The grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus. Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst.” (1 Timothy 1:13-15 NIV)
friend, God has more patience with you than you have with yourself!
Let Paul's words sink in. He calls himself the worst sinner in the world to show you that nothing YOU have done removes you from the reach of God’s grace. Not only are you allowed to come to Him, He even awaits you with open arms.
Will you give your life to Jesus today and unload your sins so He can show you how He makes miracles out of wounds? Then feel free to pray with me now:
"Jesus, the burden of my sin has been heavy on me for so long. I would very much like to start all over again and would like to ask You today to forgive—and take away—my sins. Wash me clean of all guilt and give me a fresh start. Thank You for Your incomprehensibly great love. Let my life be a proof of Your love! Amen."
You are a miracle!
