Will you be another Indiana Jones?

I am pretty sure almost everyone has seen and loves the Indiana Jones movies. I know I do. I’ve watched them several times, and I’m looking forward to the next incarnation of this character. Have you ever watched these movies? What did you like or dislike about them?

I like Indiana Jones for a few reasons: 

1. He’s a flawed and impulsive type of person. I’ve discovered that God can use anyone, even someone like Indiana Jones or me. friend, can God use you?
2. Indiana is brave and courageous. So was my dad, who volunteered to serve in an elite brigade in World War II called the First Special Forces. The Nazis called them “the Devil’s Brigade.” friend, are you courageous? The Bible reveals that there is a great reward for those who display courage: “‘Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their ancestors to give them. Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law My servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go.’” (Joshua 1:6-7, NIV)  
3. Indiana risked it all to find treasures. Jesus once spoke about those who are willing to give up everything to find the pearl of great price: “‘Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls, who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it.’” (Matthew 13:45-46, NKJV) 

friend, if you display courage, you will find the gems of life that others will miss. With God’s help, you will be courageous and bold because you are a miracle. Please never forget how much God loves you.
