Would you like to go to Heaven one day?

Publication date Aug 14, 2020
God loves everyone. He wants everyone to have a great life on earth and in Heaven. Do you believe this? Millions of people struggle with these two important beliefs. Does God love me even when I do bad things? Does God love me in spite of my weaknesses and faults? Does He love some people and hate others? John 3:16 sets the record straight on this subject: “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16, NIV) That’s the whole world. He loves murderers and judges, prostitutes and politicians. God loves us all.  Heaven and hell are the next touchy issue. Does God want some people to go to hell and only a few to go to Heaven? 2 Peter 3:9 settles this: “The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise, as some understand slowness. Instead He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” (2 Peter 3:9, NIV) I love that word: everyone. He wants you, your family and your coworkers to go to Heaven. He dreams of protesters and revolutionaries going to Heaven as well. Here are a few secrets to help you share the Good News with others. There should be no doubt in your mind about where you’ll go, and you should share this fabulous news because people want to know about Heaven. Try it out for fun this week. Walk into a room with many people and ask all of them, “Would you like to go to Heaven one day?” I suspect most of them will smile and say a big “YES” but then express doubt about whether they will actually go there. friend, you can remove all doubt. Then ask them, “Would you like to make sure?” The door just opened for you to tell them about Jesus. Hallelujah! You’re going to win many souls because people have questions, and you have answers.  Because you’re a miracle.
