friend, You Have to Decide!

Joseph must have been shocked when he found out that his fiancée was pregnant! And not with his child!

"Joseph, to whom she was engaged, was a righteous man and did not want to disgrace her publicly, so he decided to break the engagement quietly. As he considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream. ‘Joseph, son of David,’ the angel said, ‘do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife. For the child within her was conceived by the Holy Spirit.'" (Matthew 1:19-20 NLT) 

These verses contain several important keys for your life! "But as he considered this..." (Matthew 1:19 NLT) There are situations in life that we want to run away from! Just ask Joseph... We’re hesitant or afraid to make decisions because everything seems so hopeless.

Wrong directions are taken when decisions are lacking.

Let that sink in. What does that mean for you, friend?

Joseph did something we can learn from! The Bible says, "...as he considered this, he was visited in a dream by an angel." (Matthew 1:20 NLT) So, while you take your time and think, God will help you make the right decision!

Something happens while you're thinking, and waiting on God, friend!

Imagine if Joseph had missed the story of his life just because he couldn't make a decision! But because he faced the difficult situation, he learned the liberating truth: "For the child within her was conceived by the Holy Spirit." (Matthew 1:20 NLT) 

friend, what difficult decision is before you? Don't shy away from facing it! Take your time to think about it and seek God's presence! As you do, you will see how He will guide you.
