That's exactly what makes the difference, friend!

"You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand." (Psalm 16:11 NIV)

Can you say "Amen" to this today, friend? Probably not everyone I ask today can confirm the answer to this question with a loud "Amen."

And honestly, I have read this verse on mornings when I woke up feeling troubled. I had been feeling this way for the past few days. Somehow, a heaviness had taken hold in my life that I couldn't grasp. Do you know what I’m talking about?

So "joy" wasn't in the picture...and in addition, I was facing so many decisions that I had prayed about but hadn't received any answers to, that I couldn't fully endorse the part of the verse that says, "You make known to me the path of life."

Nevertheless, when I read this verse from the Psalms on that day, friend, I could say a loud AMEN to it. Not because I was experiencing it at that moment, but because I firmly believed it for my future! And I know that's exactly what makes all the difference!

Do you believe in God, friend? I'll assume your answer is "Yes." So when you say, "I believe in God," you automatically say, "I believe in what I cannot yet see. I BELIEVE in it!"

The Bible says about this: "Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see." (Hebrews 11:1 NIV)

And that's why you can read every verse with faith and confirm it with a loud "Amen!" Even if you're not experiencing it that way in the present moment! Because you believe it for your future!

If you can't find joy in today, then rejoice—in faith—for tomorrow!

You are a miracle!
