The Holy Spirit Speaks, Listen To Him!

friend, today, this message is for YOU!

"At the end of time, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people... At the end of time, I will make miracles happen!" (from Acts 2:17, NIV) 

friend God wants to pour out His Spirit upon all people to connect our hearts to Him and to one another. This process is wonderful, and it is accompanied by amazing and wondrous signs, as described in Acts 2:19.  

friend, the Holy Spirit is here to comfort you and give you strength, to show you that you are not alone in your struggles. 

I experienced this firsthand when a young woman from Switzerland messaged me while I was in Africa with words of comfort and encouragement that I needed at that moment. As I sat there, in the middle of Africa with a broken heart, the message I received from her read,” "...you may cry...God wants to help you, bring you healing and comfort you!" The Holy Spirit knew my heart, and prompted her to send me much needed words for healing.

Similarly, before a recent concert, I felt alone in my struggles, but I took my concerns to God and received a message from the pastor of the church organizing the event, saying that the community was fasting and praying for me. His message read, "Dear Déborah, we as a church feel that it is important to fast and pray a week before the event. We are feeling the unrest around it..."

"We as a community feel like...!" friend, this is the language of the Holy Spirit, inspiring people to pray for those in need, even if they don't personally know them. 

So if you're feeling alone, remember that the Holy Spirit is with you, and others may be praying for you without you even realizing it.

Take the time today to listen to the Holy Spirit who speaks clearly, "You are loved. You are not alone!”.
