You are blessed to be a blessing.
I would love to pray for you today!
Jesus, thank you for the spiritual family of A Miracle Every Day. Thank you for the way they are walking out their journey with Jesus every day. I pray that at this moment, they would know your miraculous provision and your faithfulness in a new and fresh way. Bless them as only You can. Amen.
As a part of the A Miracle Every Day ministry, I have the privilege of hosting a live Question and Response show on Youtube. People from around the world send in their questions, and I respond to them live. The truth is that YOU make this ministry possible with your gifts.
I will never forget a particular show, for the rest of my life. A question popped up in the CHAT that took my breath away. A fifth-grade boy from India had sent in a question. He said, “I love Jesus and I am going to share Him with my friends today. I know that I will be beaten for sharing my faith. Will you please pray that I have the courage to talk about Jesus?”
Tears streamed down my face as I answered my new hero that yes, we would pray that God would protect Him for sowing so richly into the lives of the friends he knew might return evil for his amazing courage.
I am still stunned every time I think about my friend Raj (his name has been changed for safety issues). Raj showed courage, faith and love in wanting to share Jesus, and I know that His spiritual harvest will be GREAT!!!!
The Bible talks a lot about seeding (or sowing) and harvest (or reaping). Paul talks about it in relation to giving. He says, “Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.” (2 Corinthians 9:6, NIV)
friend, Raj gave everything he could for the sake of Jesus. He risked his own safety so that his friends could know the love of Jesus. What a beautiful sacrifice! Today, you can help continue our ministry to people like Raj. Giving is one of the highest expressions of our humanity as well as our dependence on each other. We received from others, so we give. Raj gave me so much and I want to give back to him in the name of the Jesus we both love.
Paul goes on to say, “Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us, your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.” (2 Corinthians 9:10-11, NIV)
friend, your life will be so rich when you give, and God promises that He will bless you with an abundance of seed to sow so that you can share, just like Raj.
This week, let’s practice the same kind of generosity that our friend Raj has inspired us to share. Together, we have been blessed to be a blessing.
You’re a miracle!
