Believe and receive
How do you feel about 2022? Are you optimistic or hopeless? Are you full of faith or full of doubt? Are you a miracle waiting to happen or a gloomy cloud? John Maxwell has often said, “Your attitude will determine your altitude.” In my experience, this is so true.
The Bible says, “if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.” (Romans 10:9-10, NKJV)
Do you believe in your heart that God will do greater things in 2022? Do you believe that you can be healed, blessed, and prosperous in this new year?
Jesus taught a mighty truth about the importance of belief: “Then He said to him, ‘Rise and go; your faith has made you well.’” (Luke 17:19, NIV) What? I thought that Jesus made the people well, but He insisted that it was the faith of the seekers that healed.
I remember incidents in my life when faith overcame all reason: my healing from two strokes, my daughter’s healing from cancer, and countless other incredible God moments. I’ll never forget the day I had a bizarre faith thought on the beach of a hostile nation. The organizers of a crusade had received death threats before we arrived, so they decided to cancel the meetings. People had warned us that a few radicals wanted to pour acid bombs on me and burn the meeting building to the ground. Yikes! In a blink of an eye, faith arose in my heart, and I said, “Pasqual, are you afraid to die?” He answered, “No, Pastor, I’m not.” So I said, “Nor am I. Let’s redesign these meetings and call them blessing meetings.” The organizers agreed to a new plan, and the meetings were incredible. God moved mightily, people were healed, and many felt the presence of God.
friend, am I some superhero from the Marvel comics? No, I just decided to have faith, trust God, and the rest was up to Him.
Will you believe in a better future, miracles, prosperity, and breakthroughs? I do, and I’ll believe with and for you to experience a new year of miracles. Because that’s who you are becoming…a miracle!
