Do you live with the gift of grace?
Have you ever met people who were graced with beauty, intelligence, musical talents, or athletic prowess? I have, and they are amazing individuals. God gave each of them a set of gifts that is quite extravagant. The Einsteins of the world amaze us with their mathematical theories, and the Mozarts have impressed us for ages with their beautiful symphonies.
The Bible says King David felt the same way about the grace he received from God: “For the LORD God is a sun and shield; The LORD will give grace and glory; No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.” (Psalms 84:11, NKJV)
Could you read this verse carefully and take ahold of its promises?
- “The LORD God is a sun and shield.” friend, can you describe God like this?
- “The LORD will give grace and glory.” This is God’s plan for your life. Wow! Grace and glory can be your portion.
- God will not withhold any good thing from you if you walk uprightly.
friend, these promises are too important to ignore. You can abide in the grace of God and experience real glory if you walk uprightly. I know you are not perfect, but your heart is set on a good walk with God. He will take care of the rest by His grace because you are a miracle.
