Don't hit snooze now, friend!

“Relieve the troubles of my heart and free me from my anguish.” (Psalm 25:17 NIV

Wow, what an amazing, amazing Psalm! "Let me be free from all that still frightens me!" What are you still afraid of, friend, as you've heard God's message and actually know what He desires from you?

I have no idea what it is, but I'm convinced that it's good for you!

Whether He's asking you to end your affair (and how glad I am that we can talk openly about these things), whether He's told you to finally take the step into self-employment, or even perhaps to attend a Bible school, or whether He's asked you to stop complaining about your situation and to live consciously and wholeheartedly every day. I am absolutely sure that God has laid something on your heart this week that will awaken you.

This is an alarm clock that cannot be snoozed away!

friend, when God speaks, you can, of course, hit "snooze" first, but unfortunately, just like in real life, you'll miss out on valuable time when God wants you to experience WONDER-ful things!

Imagine standing before your wonderful God someday and He shows you what He had planned for you and you have to admit, "Sorry, I overslept."

friend, God is gracious, patient, and unbelievably good to us. You can read that in Jonah 4:2: "...You are a gracious and compassionate God. Your patience is great, your love knows no end.'" (Jonah 4:2 NIV

Yes, even if we've overslept until now, do we really want to miss out on all the WONDER-ful things that await behind our step of obedience? You can't see it yet, but you will—after this step of trust—experience WONDER-ful things!

friend, ask God today to free you from whatever might still scare you about this important step, and "Forget the things that happened in the past. Do not keep on thinking about them. I am about to do something new." (Isaiah 43:18 NIRV

Look ahead, friend, look ahead for the new thing.

You are a miracle!
