God alone…

“Déborah doesn’t seem to struggle with anything.”
I had to smile when I read that comment from a woman on Facebook. Especially because someone else replied right after: “Right? I’ve noticed that too.”
The truth is… I love sharing the miracles God performs in my life. But what people don’t always see is the journey that brings me to my knees—literally.
To my knees in prayer—often with tears in my eyes, friend. I honestly wouldn’t mind showing that part, too. 😥 But how sad would it be if all I ever posted were photos of me crying, with captions like: “Today is hard again. I’m struggling with this or that…”
When all the while, God says: “Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you … He will restore, support, and strengthen you, and he will place you on a firm foundation.” (1 Peter 5:7,10 NLT)
That means: God alone will give us the strength we’re missing, as we take time in prayer to be with Him. 🙏
That’s why Jesus says in Matthew 6:6:
“When you pray, go away by yourself, shut the door behind you, and pray to your Father in private. Then your Father, who sees everything, will reward you.” (Matthew 6:6 NLT)
God won’t just reward you for what happens in the quiet—it will become visible in your life! Others will begin to see that your strength doesn’t come from people, but from your trust in Him.
Because the smile on your face? It’s the fruit of your private time with God.
friend, the most beautiful part is this: Nothing and no one can take from you what God wants to give you in prayer.
And I want to encourage you: Experience it for yourself—because God is waiting for you. And He’s waiting with His help. 💛
You are a miracle!
