He Hears You!
Do you feel like God never answers any of your prayers? If so, I want you to know that this feeling—which is just a feeling and not the truth—doesn't have to leave you feeling alone today, friend.
Let me first quote four Bible verses to remind you of the truth:
"The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective." (James 5:16, NIV)
"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.” (Matthew 7:7-8 NIV)
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-7 NIV)
"Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus." (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 NIV)
With this truth in mind, I want to pray a prayer for you, which you can confirm with your own "Amen" at the end if you wish, friend:
“Jesus, I pray today – for the hundredth time – because even though You seem silent, I still believe that You see me. I won’t give in to the lie or the feeling that wants to take up space in my heart. Jesus, You know me, and You know exactly what I lack, what makes me sad, and why I have cried out to You so many times. Despite the doubts that try to convince me that praying won't make a difference this time either, I choose to pray consciously and full of faith! Because You say that my prayer is powerful and effective! You say that I should ask and believe Your answer is best. You say that I shouldn't worry, but pray about everything, and You will fill me with Your peace. Yes, You ask me to keep praying, even when it's hard. So, I pray here and now, and I ask: meet me, Lord! Amen.”
Amen, friend.
You are a miracle!
