How do I make the right decisions?
I could hardly contain my joy when I unexpectedly received a very lucrative job offer as a singer during the pandemic, which was a challenging time for us artists. St. Moritz, Davos, London, Paris, and Las Vegas were just a few of the places I'd perform.
The most important and beautiful part for me was that I was booked with my own music and message, which I usually share in churches. friend, everything seemed perfect…except that gut feeling. Why couldn't I shake it?
That's why I knew that before I could make a commitment, I had to talk to God first, even though everything inside was screaming, "This is your dream job! Do it."
"Show me the right path, O LORD; point out the road for me to follow. Lead me by Your truth and teach me, for You are the God who saves me. All day long I put my hope in You." (Psalm 25:4-5, NLT)
friend, no matter how it feels, it's essential that you first and foremost take a step back and illuminate the situation with God's truth. Since you can't do that from a human perspective alone, you need His clear vision that reveals even the hidden things. How is this incredible thing possible? By seeking Him!
"'And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.'" (Jeremiah 29:13, NKJV)
What is the decision you need to make in your life? What does your gut tell you, friend? Have you made your decision yet? I exhort you to choose to seek God's perspective before you move forward on anything.
friend, your life is too valuable to sell yourself short for a lucrative offer or for any reason at all…because your value is priceless. Never forget that.
You are a miracle!
