Lord, You are the One I Praise
Thank you for joining me for another miracle moment through A Miracle Every Day! I have been so excited to share stories from our readers that I know will build your faith and encourage your heart.
The prophet Jeremiah was familiar with crying out for a miracle. If you read his book, you will be struck by his unrelenting appeals for God to heal his land and his heart. If you are praying for a miracle today, don’t give up! Keep asking. Keep seeking. Keep knocking! Listen to the appeal of Jeremiah from chapter 17:12-14
“A glorious throne, exalted from the beginning, is the place of our sanctuary. Lord, you are the hope of Israel; all who forsake you will be put to shame.Those who turn away from you will be written in the dust because they have forsaken the Lord, the spring of living water.
Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise.”(Jeremiah 17:12-14, NIV)

"In March of 2023 I was diagnosed with a rare form of skin cancer called Merkel cell carcinoma. After being diagnosed, I sat down to pray and ask God for guidance because the type of cancer I had been diagnosed with was rare. After my prayer time, I was led to 'A Miracle Every Day' through the YouVersion Bible app, which I have been studying for several years. I continue to read 'A Miracle Every Day,' and have been so blessed from the readings and scriptures that are shared. At this time, I have been diagnosed cancer-free!! I still have to have full body scans for the next 2 to 3 years, but I know that my God is bigger than cancer, and the Word is where I find my source. Thank you for sharing your testimonies through 'A Miracle Every Day,' and I pray that God continues to bless your ministry as you have been a blessing to me and others."
Don’t you love those words – cancer free! I certainly do! My friend, today, the God who loves you is writing new words over your story. Worry free. Anxiety free. Depression free. Insecurity free. Inadequacy free. Fear free. Heart failure free. Anger free. Discouragement free. Exhaustion free. Insomnia free. Hopelessness free. Despair free.
Your God is re-writing the story and His miracle for you today is that you are FILLED to overflowing with hope, love, trust, joy, peace, goodness, kindness, faithfulness and expectancy!
My friend, when we cry out to God, He hears us! Earlier this week, we read the words of Psalm 34 but it bears repeating!
“The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” (Psalms 34:17-20, NIV)
