Sometimes we wonder why God removes things from our lives. It looked good, even promising, right?
Yes, God is who He is, and He doesnât change. (See Malachi 3:6).
Thatâs why, in moments like these, you can always choose to trust Him:
âHe cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful.â (John 15:2, NIV) Â
Think about how a gardener prunes a tree. Do they chop it roughly without paying attention to what theyâre cutting off? No. Itâs done carefully, with great attention, precision, and thoughtfulness. Itâs an approach where you donât just âdo something,â but act consciously, mindfully, and responsiblyâall with love for whatâs at stake.Â
Thatâs how God, our divine Gardener, prunes things in your life to grow more spiritual fruit.
To stay with the vineyard example⌠at first, everything grows massively! You might think: âWow, thatâs incredibleâso much fruit all at once!â But the gardener steps in and trims it back. âWhyyy?â you might ask. Itâs simply because âtoo muchâ can become chaotic and unfruitful.
If He let everything grow unchecked, the foliage would get dense, the air would stagnate, and the sunlight couldnât reach through. And right there, in the shade, disease begins. đĽ´
Thatâs why the gardener prunesânot to destroy, but to create space for light.
And if youâre experiencing such a âcutâ in your life right now, believe me, God means well for you. Because a cut isnât the endâitâs the beginning of light!
He doesnât want you to grow blindly. He wants you to see Him again. In the light that shows you who you are, where youâre going, and that you are not alone.

You are a miracle!
