Quiet time? No time! 🙄

Publication date Nov 30, 2025

Ah, sometimes I wonder if I share a little too openly, giving you all my thoughts… Because I’d almost say there’s (almost) nothing I wouldn’t tell you! 🤭

Recently, I spent three whole days at a pastor’s conference. When I got home, I caught myself saying, “I need to seek God again; I feel kind of empty.”

Huh? How can that be after days of talking about church growth and evangelism, plus so many conversations over great food with other pastors??? Wasn’t it ALL about God?

Yep—and that’s exactly the point: It’s not enough for it to be about God if you’re not walking with Him.

Those days were so packed that I went to bed very late and had to be up early for the first session. Quiet time? There was no time… I found myself thinking, “God understands; I’m here for Him…”

Yet that longing for time with God was strong and almost indescribable. Like a bone-dry sponge desperately needing water to do its job—I felt exactly like that.

And again, again, and again, it reminded me that it’s absolutely true when Jesus says:

"If you remain in me…” (not just with other Christians, but personally with Jesus!) “...and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” (John 15:5, NIV, my emphasis)

Honestly, maybe you feel like you’re missing out on Christian highlights, conferences, or concerts. Maybe because of finances or simply a lack of time. From experience and conviction, I can tell you:

The only thing you truly miss is your quiet time.

So make a conscious choice every day and say: “I will intentionally make space for this.”

You are a miracle!
