Maybe you’ve never thought about this

Publication date Jan 19, 2026

Lately, if I’m honest with you, my heart has been stirred by the changes happening in the world—the many differing opinions, even among Christians, and how loudly some of them express those views.

Personally, that doesn’t scare me. It just makes me think of you more often and pray that God protects you in all of this and that you don’t lose your faith.

The Bible says: “...this will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature in the Lord…” (Ephesians 4:13, NLT)

The term “mature” refers to the ability to think independently and make responsible, thoughtful decisions.

When it comes to your faith, being mature means developing your relationship with God in a personal and intentional way—reading the Bible yourself and learning to hear from God. It’s about growing a spiritual maturity that gives you confidence. It means having your own faith rather than just following the beliefs of others blindly.

I know it’s not easy to form your own convictions amid the chaos of so many opinions—especially those we encounter constantly on social media—because it all feels so loud and overwhelming.

But God wants to give you peace in the midst of that noise—the peace that the world tries to steal from you!

Noise can steal your peace and make you fearful—you’ve probably experienced this. Noise can make doubt creep in: “What should I even believe now?” The calm you find in God, however, allows you to see and understand things through His perspective.

“Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from him.” (Psalm 62:1, NIV)

May I encourage you not just to join the conversation, but to live as a mature Christian?

Even if the whole world thinks differently, God wants you to listen to what He personally speaks to you!

You are a miracle!
