Could you love GOD better? 🤔

Publication date Feb 17, 2026

“You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is EQUALLY important: Love your neighbor as yourself.” (Matthew 22:37-39 NLT)

Today, let’s talk about whether it’s even possible to love God better. What does “loving” really mean?

Let me get straight to the point: To love means to do good.

To love God means, among other things, to do good to God.

But can you actually do good to God? 🤔He doesn’t need anything from us—He is perfect and complete. And yet Jesus made it very clear that our love for God can become beautifully practical. He said:

“Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” (Matthew 25:40)

In other words: Doing good to people = doing good to God. 💟

When I encourage someone…When I give my time…When I open my front door, even though I wanted to watch a movie…When I listen, even though my own heart feels heavy…When I show love, even while longing for a hug myself…

…THEN I am doing good to God. 🤩

And even this is true: when you treat yourself with kindness instead of tearing yourself down, you reflect something of God’s love back to Him!

✨ Miracle Thought of the Day: When we do good to others—and to ourselves—we have done good to HIM.

So let me ask you: Where and how could you “do good” to God today?

You are a miracle!
