Let’s Pray This Together

Are you intentionally living in closeness with God?

Over the past few months, He has shown me something clearly: We need more time together. 

During that same season, the Miracle Conference took place, which is truly the highlight of my year! And this year, the event grew even bigger… Wow!

Growth is good, but growth can also be costly, too. Right before the event, I started to feel really nervous. And even though I was “supposedly” feeling very connected to God, I began sharing my worries with friends.

That’s when I sensed God saying, “I am your security—share your burdens with ME!”

Ah… We actually know this, yet somehow we’re still tempted to look for help elsewhere. The very next moment, I grabbed my prayer book, A Prayer for Every Day, and do you know what was written for that exact day?

“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze!” (Isaiah 43:2, NIV)  

🙏🏻 My prayer: 

I’m very aware of how often I’ve found myself in situations that completely overwhelmed me, and how You have been faithful every single time, keeping Your promises. Why do I keep doubting when I’ve already experienced so many times how You have carried me through difficulties?

I want to believe without doubt that You are for me, because You truly are.

Sometimes it takes a little longer before You speak to me and help me, but that is only what I see on the surface. I know You are already working on my solution behind the scenes.

Father, I want to truly understand this and walk through life with less fear. Thank You for all the many times You have helped me and set me free. I know You will do it again!

I trust that You will step in, always at exactly the right time.

Thank You, Father! Thank You for being in my life!
