My Life Has Purpose
I opened the small handwritten envelope and read the words in the card, “You have made a difference in my life.” I cried at the words, because there are moments when I question whether my life truly makes a difference.
In a world filled with noise, influence, and visibility, it’s easy to feel like a small voice in a crowded room. But God’s Word reminds me that my life carries purpose, not because of my platform, but because of His design.
Purpose is not determined by how many people know my name. It’s determined by the One who created me.
God has already assigned value to my life through His calling. Paul reminds us: “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” (Ephesians 2:10, NIV)
This verse reminds me that I am not accidental. And neither are you! We are crafted with intention. The good works we are called to walk in were prepared before we even stepped into them.
That means our daily life—our conversations, our service, our encouragement to others—matters more than we often realize. Purpose is lived out in ordinary moments that are surrendered to God, and every moment matters.
Let’s choose to embrace the assignments in front of us, trusting that God is working through even the smallest acts of obedience. Together, we can change the world! Let’s pray:
Father, thank You for creating me with purpose. Help me recognize the significance of my daily life and the opportunities You place before me. Give me eyes to see the good works You have prepared for me, and the courage to walk in them faithfully. Let my life reflect Your intentional design. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Never forget my friend,
You are a miracle!
