You don’t lose ...

Publication date Jun 26, 2026

Letting go is incredibly hard, isn’t it?

Whether it’s a toxic relationship or a job. Maybe even letting go of things you’ve always done, but can no longer continue as you get older. Many of us even struggle to put down our phones just to do something different. 😉

And the biggest fear is probably not even the step itself. It’s what comes after. Because you don’t know… because something is missing that once gave you stability.

“What if I lose?”

Connections. Opportunities. Quality. Influence…

What if I let go—and suddenly have less? “I’ve never done this on my own before…”

These thoughts are real and normal. But they are not the whole truth.

Jesus once asked a radical question: “What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul?” (Mark 8:36, NIV)

In other words, What good is external success if it destroys you internally?”

God does not think in “loss categories” the way we do. He sees further: “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him.” (Romans 8:28, NIV)

And listen to how encouraging this verse is:

“The blessing of the LORD brings wealth, without painful toil for it.” (Proverbs 10:22, NIV

This means that what truly comes from God will not destroy you along the way.

So when you let go of something that weakens you internally—even if it looks strong externally—you are not losing. You are exchanging. 😉

You exchange:

Pressure for peace.Conformity for clarity.Inner unrest for stability.Sleepless nights for rest.

Isn’t that what you truly long for? ❤️

And the key is this: you gain space again to hear God’s voice. Maybe you lose something—maybe even people—but it is better to lose everything and gain a heart that is free.

Take the step and discover for yourself: “I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord.” (Philippians 3:8, NIV

You are a miracle!
