Don’t worry! It won’t burn!🔥
I won’t pretend otherwise: sometimes the finances surrounding an event we’re planning can get really intense. It can honestly make my head spin. And maybe you know that feeling as well.
Maybe in your finances.Or your health.Or your family.
Or maybe you simply know what it feels like when you realize that if something doesn’t change RIGHT NOW, we’ve got a serious problem.
And that’s exactly where things get intense—in every sense of the word.
We all know what it feels like when a piece of clothing feels too tight. You start wondering if it’s about to rip. The pressure is real.
And the pressure was definitely real when Abraham climbed the mountain with his son, the very mountain where he believed he would have to sacrifice him.
Not only were his feet burning from the climb, but Scripture tells us:
“Abraham placed the wood for the burnt offering on Isaac’s shoulders, while he himself carried the fire and the knife. And the two of them went on together.” (Genesis 22:6, NLT)
Imagine climbing a mountain you never wanted to climb, while the fire is already burning in your hands.
That is terrifying. 😳
And maybe you’re climbing a mountain right now that you never wanted to climb.
Maybe because of a diagnosis.Maybe because your marriage is under pressure.Maybe because your finances are collapsing.
The wood is already glowing… 🪵🔥
Wouldn’t you want to know how Abraham handled it? I know I would.
He kept walking the hard road all the way to the end. Because he trusted. He believed:
The wood may be glowing, but it will not consume me. The fire may burn, but my God will protect me.
Oh, you can believe that too!
Because after trust comes great wonder. Today, we still stand amazed at how God intervened because of Abraham’s courage.
So just imagine what you—and the people around you—will witness when they see God intervene in your situation because you chose to trust Him.
Keep trusting… And be amazed.
You are a miracle!
