Am I Living a Life Worth Following? šŸ¤”

Publication date Jul 31, 2026

Why is it that some people seem to be ā€œcloser to Godā€? Have you ever asked yourself that question?

I know those seasons too—times when God seems more present. And if I’m honest, those are often the seasons when I’m spending more time with Him.

The more I walk with God, the more deeply He reveals His heart to me.

There’s so much wisdom in 2 Peter. For example, ā€œMake every effort to add to your faith goodness...ā€ (2 Peter 1:5

A life worth following. What does that look like? I don’t think I need to explain it, because we already know what matters to God:

Love.Kindness.Faithfulness.Honesty.

Simply everything that is good.

A life lived in the light. Not those little hidden sins no one knows about... And not anything that damages our closeness with Him.

When we live in a way that pleases Him, He reveals more of Himself to us because that pleases Him.

That’s why Scripture says, ā€œMake every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge...ā€ (2 Peter 1:5

This doesn’t mean other people don’t know God. No. But it does mean that you can come to know Him even more deeply.

Anyone can know about God. But only some will truly know Him. Then the passage continues:

ā€œ...and to knowledge, self-control.ā€ (2 Peter 1:6

Because the more you know God, the more you WANT to do what pleases Him.

And that’s exactly what shines through your life: God’s presence in you. And when people see that, they want it too. ā¤ļø

Do you see how important it is to spend time with God? This is where everything good begins! Only here will you find the strength to walk away from sin, and only here will you receive the gift of knowing God for who He truly is.

And that’s what puts that smile on your face! The kind of smile that is attractive to the people around you too. šŸ˜‰

You are a miracle!
