Hold On—Keep Going!

Publication date Aug 31, 2026

The last thing you want to hear when you're going through a difficult season is, "Just hang in there—it'll all work out."

But that's exactly what I want to tell you today: Hold on. Keep going. It really will get better.

And I'm saying that while I'm going through some things myself. While I also have to endure. I'm sharing this with you so you can see that you can walk with God—and still go through hard times. Just ask Paul... He could tell you all about it.

So yes, this is normal. What you're experiencing is part of the journey. The real question is: what will we do with it?

Maybe you don't even have the mental capacity right now to take in something positive—let alone pray.

I've been there. I understand. Does that mean I just give up?

No.

I've made a decision:

➡️ Even when I don't feel like it AT ALL, I'll do what I'm able to do.

Yesterday, that simply meant lying on my couch and saying, "Father, my mind is all over the place, but my heart still belongs to You."

That's not so hard, is it? Today I decided to do a little more.

I even jumped on my elliptical machine—okay, maybe "jumped on" is a bit of an exaggeration. 😄 But I exercised while listening to worship music.

And would you believe it… That's where the Holy Spirit met me.

Suddenly, I found myself praising God…

Worshiping Him…

And declaring war on those negative thoughts.

When you do what YOU can do, He will do what ONLY HE can do. 👑

What are you able to do today? Take that first step and watch how He meets you along the way. Because when God says, "It will get better," you can truly believe Him.

Yes, it's just as Scripture says: "...Weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning." (Psalm 30:5)

Amen.

You are a miracle!
