What Are You REALLY Looking For?
When was the last time you longed for attention?
I don’t talk about this season of my life very often anymore, but I know that feeling well. That inner longing that says: “See me. Notice me. Tell me that I’m valuable.”
Everywhere you look, there are people around you. Confident. Interesting.
Not every married man wears a ring. 🙊 So, a conversation begins. A smile. A glance. A little extra attention… Nothing serious, right?
And somewhere in the back of your mind you wonder, “Is he married?” But you push it away. Because in that moment, it feels good. That “other” woman doesn’t really exist to you as long as you don’t see her…
And this is exactly where this commandment suddenly becomes incredibly relevant: “You must not commit adultery” (Exodus 20:14).
It’s not only about what HAPPENS, but it’s also about what you ALLOW.
It’s about that small “yes” in your heart…About pushing away the truth. About that moment when you know: “This is actually going too far…” but continuing anyway.
Jesus puts it this way: “But I say, anyone who even looks at a woman with lust has already committed adultery with her in his heart” (Matthew 5:28).
Today I want to ask you:
“How much are you willing to risk for a brief moment of attention when deep down you know what it could cost you?” 💔
Even a harmless flirtation rarely stays just a game.
Today, I have personally set very clear boundaries. ✋🛑
Because when you learn to take that one moment seriously, you will discover that you become:
Clearer.Stronger.Freer.Happier.
Not because you are simply denying yourself something, but because you are choosing something that protects you — and helps you move forward!
Ask yourself an honest question today: “What am I really looking for?” 🤔
I can tell you one thing:
You will never find what your heart is searching for in another person’s heart.
Because true love does not begin with playing around — it begins with clarity.
With a clear YES to God and His loving commandments.
You are a miracle!
